We’ve got a few exciting things happening after Nowrooz. So pencil them into your diaries now and don’t grumble that we never tell you about stuff that’s going on…
- April 16th: the next Persepolis cookery school (see below). These take place at Anderson & Co, and cost £100 a head. Places are very limited….
- April 20th: the next Pop-Up Persepolis, also at Anderson & Co. £40.00 per head. Bookings now being taken. Menu to follow.
- May 11th: An evening of Persian poetry, organised in conjunction with the Poetry Translation Centre. Five or six Iranian poets (working in translation) will be here to entertain you. There will be refreshments (we are nothing if not hospitable), and the event is free. You do need to let us know you are coming however, as IT WILL BE BUSY.
We are also getting out and about a bit – do come and see us if you can. Thanks to the British Council, Mr. and Mrs. Shopkeeper will be at the Abu Dhabi Book Fair from 28th March – 1st April. And then we’ll be at the Big Green Book Shop on the evening of May 18th (just to prove that South Londoners do occasionally cross the river), chatting and signing books. And from May 29th – May 31st we’ll be dusting off our passports again and heading up to Yorkshire, Cumbria and Lancashire to do some lunchtime talks about stuff, care of these nice people.
