Brinjal Pickle: Sweet Aubergine Relish


Not very Persian, true. But we like it so we stock it. Because that's the sort of self-indulgent shopkeepers that we are.


Enjoy as an accompaniment to savoury dishes, or shove it in your cheese sandwich, or do what Mrs. S. does and whisk it into salad dressings and marinades for a little secret extra ‘je ne sais quoi’.
