We were recently asked (by a five year old) if these are for ‘removing eyeballs’. They are actually fairly harmless gizmos, just sharp enough to remove the inner core of a courgette or aubergine. And as obscure as the task sounds, if you dabble in Middle Eastern cookery, you will end up needing to do this at some stage. Great stocking filla for the annoying gourmet-who-has-everything.
