This year will be the year of the cookery class, we have decided. Nice customer people keep asking us if we could do some. It is a very scary notion, especially when you are as naturally clumsy as we are. But we have done a couple before, which passed without major incident. And with a new book coming out this September, it just seems like a good thing to do.
Now we’d like nothing more than to run them in our own shop. But there is the slight problem that we don’t currently have any cooking facilities herein. In the meantime, we are having a ‘practice run’ at Divertimenti in Marylebone: there are still tickets if you want to come – and it would be nice to see some friendly faces in the audience.
But we will work on finding a more Peckham-centric venue for later in the year. Watch this space for details…
