It will be our ninth birthday on December 16th. No, we can’t quite believe it either. Now we can’t have a big celebration this year (we’ll save that for our tenth, perhaps) on account of it being Ashura: many of our customers will be in mourning, and it just wouldn’t do for us to be playing with jelly and ice cream. But we will be offering Persian tea and ma’amoul to our shopping-weary customers that day, so you should make a point of popping in to wish us many happy returns.
