Persian Galeyoun (Shishe Pipe): Dark Purple Base, Shah Abbas

£25.00

Well it'll be a talking point at the very least….

Description

Now Iranian pipes aren’t put together quite the same way as metal shishe pipes. They require a bit more TLC and patience. They are fitted with sack cloth and tape, and every one is slightly different. The wooden upper parts are hand finished, and the carving and the hoses will vary from galeyoun to galeyoun. Think of the difference between a wooden boat and a fibreglass number and you will start to understand. But if you look after your galeyoun, it will give you a fine and characterful smoke and last for years.
